1、One Overview of Gas Soft Seal Gate Valve

Gate valve is one of the most widely used valves in various fluid transportation projects. Traditional gate valves commonly suffer from fluid leakage and severe corrosion of internal components. At present, ordinary soft sealed gate valves on the market are prone to leakage at the valve stem and shaft seal, making it impossible to replace the sealing ring without continuous water or gas and at any opening.

2、Structural characteristics of gas soft seal gate valve

Valve body precision cast shell

The valve body and valve seat are precision cast as a whole, without any processing required. When the valve is fully opened, the gate is completely detached from the flow channel, and there is no groove at the bottom of the valve seat, which is not easy to accumulate debris and is equivalent to a straight pipeline, with the lowest flow resistance.

All rubber coated gate plates

The elastic seat seal gate valve is mainly composed of a rubber wrapped integral gate plate, which produces a small amount of adaptive elastic deformation under the action of operating force and water pressure, and forms an excellent sealing effect with the precision cast valve seat. High performance rubber wraps the entire skeleton, and cast iron is completely isolated from the medium without corrosion. The rubber soft seal is firmly bonded with the skeleton, and is formed by overall hot vulcanization.

Integral copper nut

The gate nut is connected to the skeleton as a whole, without any movement or loosening phenomenon. The bronze material and valve stem are self-lubricating, effectively reducing the operating torque.

Gate guide rail system

There is a guide rail system between the valve body and the gate plate. When the gate plate is sealed, it carries water pressure without deviation, and there is no contact wear of the rubber during lifting to prevent the valve stem from bending.

Axial sealing of valve stem

The bottom of the packing box adopts two sets of O-ring seals inside and outside the sealing sleeve, and the upper part of the packing box adopts a sealing combination of V-shaped PTFE packing. Under the action of water pressure, it self seals axially without the trouble of adjusting the packing seal. The top dust ring prevents external impurities from entering the interior of the shaft seal.

Non toxic anti-corrosion baking paint

The inner and outer surfaces of the valve are polished and shot blasted using non-toxic epoxy resin powder electrostatic paint, which is corrosion-resistant and has a long service life. It can be directly used in the domestic drinking water, food and pharmaceutical industries.‍
